PURENRG24-7 TESTIMONIALS!

BEFORE:

24-7

In the five months I worked out with Dave, I've lost 50 pounds and several inches off my waist, hips, thighs and arms, etc., while cutting my body fat percentage substantially. I won’t even tell you what size my jeans were, but it’s safe to say that I went down 4 sizes there as well. I attribute that success to two things:

1. Dave has unremarkable expertise in exercise and nutrition. That is hugely important, because I needed help in both areas in order to turn myself around. Even when I did workout with machines at the gym, I was not using them properly. Now I am!

2. Dave's diet and exercise regime is easily manageable. The problem I always had in the past was that I would be too extreme in my diets and workouts, and couldn't stick with them for too long. With Dave, I could work out 3-4 times per week for an hour, and see real results. This also helped me to believe that what I was doing was going to work; I didn't have to guess or try more diets fads to obtain results. Dave designed my program especially for me.

Thanks to Dave, I am able to fit into clothes I haven't been able to wear for years! I feel better, look better and am in excellent shape. Dave has given me the tools I need to continue on this path for the rest of my life. I'd love to submit full body pictures of my results, but I have been camera shy for years and don’t really have any. I would never let ANYONE take a full body picture of me… it had to be from the waist up. I'm sure you can still see from these pictures what a dramatic effect Dave has had on my appearance, health, confidence and my life as a whole.

To prospective clients:

I have been active with weightlifting and cardio fitness since high school (over 10 years). In the past, I have tried to educate myself through weightlifting magazines, discussions with others at the gym, and even the Internet. I also learned some things through my football and track background. Through this all, I believed that I knew about as much as the typical trainer. Basically, I was adverse to using a trainer since I didn’t think I would benefit too much from it. You could say I was a reluctant “subject”.

I began working with Dave almost two years ago. The reason that I began working with Dave is that I heard he was much better than the “average” trainer. The reason that I stay with Dave is that he has continued to provide me with a range of interesting and diverse exercises that enhance my strength, flexibility, and posture and body composition. At the time, I had no idea that I would be working with him to this day.

Here’s a brief list of how Dave has helped me:

• Decreased body weight, dropping from 208 pounds to 197 pounds
• Decreased body fat, dropping from 16.5% to 11%
• More balance diet, created specifically for my body type and work-out routine
• Focus on key exercises designed to help me, meaning more results in less time
• Increased strength, particularly with my core (abdominal area)
• Improved posture, particularly in the upper shoulders and neck area
• Improved flexibility, particularly with the hips and upper back
• Improved balance, particularly with lower body
• Learned how to do exercises properly, meaning decreased chance for joint injury

Physical fitness is very important to me, and I know that Dave is the guy to help me best achieve my goals. Whatever your goals are, I believe Dave can help you, too.

Sincerely,

Todd Anderson

To prospective clients:

I am an old school jock. (50 years old) I was a football, basketball and track star in high school and played D-1 college basketball at Mizzou. (Currently ranked #3 in the country btw) I have been training off and on (mostly off) since graduating from the university. I obviously thought that I had all the answers relative to physical conditioning and training with my athletic background. Approximately a year ago I planned to stop smoking and wanted to drop a few pounds. Anticipating the usually 20+ that jumps on you when you kick the habit. (Not to mention the 2+ inches on the waistline…yes, making another tailor rich.) So I strolled into the Club I’ve belonged to for 8+ years (very seldom used) and was greeting by a very cheerful young lady. She strongly suggested that a Personal Trainer was the answer to the above-mentioned opportunities/challenges and introduced me to Dave Camizzi.

I have been working with Dave for over a year. The reason I decided to take advantage of his expertise is the “old jock” had not kept up with all research and development that had transpired over the last 30 years in this industry. It requires an expert like Dave Camizzi that is totally focused on this space to stay abreast of all the opportunities and programs that exist for his clients in terms of diet, exercise routines, posture, flexibility, etc. He is constantly attending training seminars on physical conditioning, diet, resistance training and supplements. As a result, I receive state of the art conditioning programs and expert guidance on diet and supplements. I want instruction and programs when it comes to my physical health. Dave without a doubt is unrivaled in his expertise and knowledge of the field.

Here’s a brief list of what Dave and I have accomplished:

• Decreased body weight, dropped from 185 lbs. to 170 lbs.
• Decreased body fat, dropped from 19.8% to 13.1%
• More balance diet with the correct amount of calories per day based on my activity level
• Improved balance and strength in my core (abdominal area)
• Dramatically improved flexibility in the lower body and legs (knees)
• Exercise Programs (Cardio and Resistance) tailored to my personal goals
• Reduced my waistline by 2+ inches 34 to 32 inches
• Added 30+ yards to the Driver w/ the improved flexibility
• Supplement program tailored to my body chemistry and personal goals

I would strongly recommend Dave Camizzi to address your personal fitness goals. If you want an expert who is on top of his game, Dave’s your guy.

After ten years of marriage, working full-time and having two children, I became motivated to do something for my health and myself. I started this process by having training sessions at Lakeshore Towers with Dave Camizzi that started in early 2001. Dave not only has incredible energy, which assisted in motivating me in my training sessions, but he was very knowledgeable in assessing what exercises would be the best for what I wanted to accomplish. This included losing weight and strengthening my lower back.

Dave provided a variety of exercises that were appropriate at each stage as I progressed and became stronger. Dave was also very knowledgeable in providing nutritional information that is instrumental in being healthily. After approximately 3 months of working with Dave at the gym I lost approximately 35 pounds and my clothes began to fit better and my back aches decreased.

I have continued to work out at the gym on a regular basis. I also occasionally meet with Dave outside the gym at the beach. Each time I learn something new and challenging. This has helped to keep me motivated and continue to exercise.

I recently had a friend talk me into running a half marathon with her. I began running more and longer distances to get ready. After talking to Dave about what I could do to help with endurance and speed for the race, he suggested doing speed work at the track. He not only helped me with my running at the track, he also gave me suggestions on other areas including a continued emphasis on stretching and nutrition. With Dave’s help and encouragement, I finished that race close to my goal time.

With Dave’s help and encouragement I have maintained my goal weight for almost 3 years and fell better about myself.

I first started working with Dave Camizzi when I signed up at Lakeshore Towers Sports Club approximately 2 years ago. I weighed 196 pounds (down from 250, which I accomplished on my own), for a 5’5” woman, the weight was wrecking havoc on my back, joints, and I was experiencing daily headaches and trouble sleeping. I had lost a lot a weight myself, but I couldn’t go any further on my own.

I was stuck!

The fitness manager told me that if I followed the program that Dave laid out for me, I COULD NOT FAIL. I kept that in my mind and although I was afraid I would fail yet again at weight control, I remembered what he said and followed Dave’s advice blindly.

I’m so glad I did!

At first, Dave measured and weighed me, and discussed a nutrition program with me. I followed his advice, asked many questions, and eventually learned many new nutrition habits that increased my energy and eliminated my need to binge on unhealthy foods. At the same time, we began a weight training and cardio program. I was afraid that I would be worked to the bone and would go home with all kinds of sports injuries and pains. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. I was surprised that the workouts were fun, and only strenuous enough to obtain the optimal results without killing me. In the years that I’ve worked with Dave, I have never been injured or strained. Many days I was amazed at what I was learning, and shocked to discover most of what I thought I knew about fitness was overblown hype by the media or fitness “guru’s” trying to score a fast buck by preying on people like me. Dave’s no-nonsense, pure information approach cleared the debris and clarified a path for me. I didn’t realize that small changes can have such massive results! Dave also watched every move I made to ensure proper form to prevent any injuries and to get the best results from the effort. In all the years I’ve worked with him, he’s never taken his eyes off me while we worked together. He remains focused on me achieving my goals at all times.

As time went on, the workouts changed and became more challenging every 3-4 weeks, and the growth was steady and calculated. He taught me how to “keep my body guessing” to avoid plateaus, and to keep from getting bored or burnt out. No matter how far I go in my nutrition and exercise program, I learn something from Dave every time I meet with him. I ask detailed questions, and challenge him if I doubt what he’s telling me….and he always answers my questions, and includes printed information for reference to back up his findings.

Working with Dave was the best investment I ever made. My activities used to be confined to watching videos at home on weekends, but now I bike ride long distances, tap dance, participate in yoga, Pilates and ballet, and when I go to a night club, I dance the night away….showing off my flat midriff with a pretty belly chain. I can’t describe the confidence I’ve gained from my newfound knowledge and experience. I used to be shy but now I’m friendly, outgoing, and have taken some additional career risks that I would have otherwise been afraid to take. I never realized when I first started with Dave that it would change my life so dramatically, but it has. And the knowledge I’ve gained will be with me for the rest of my life.

When Dave asked for a reference letter, I was honored to write it. He is known as one of the best trainers in California, and only someone who’s worked with him as long can see exactly what separates him from the others.

Sincerely,

Kerry Ann Wirges

To Whom It May Concern:
(and people at the water foundation)

Several months ago I finally broke down and decided to part with some hard-earned cash to see if I could buy my way to good health, it was cheaper than plastic surgery and I figured it would hurt less! I am not sure if it was luck or some incredibly deep insight that I ended up with Dave Camizzi. But whoever the great decider is that put us together, is clearly a comedian, with his Jersey accent and down-under tones, it is a wonder we even know each other’s names! But despite this mild communication barrier – we got on like a house of tire.

Dave is a wise man (no kidding) and he sized me up fast, too much booze, too many late nights and not enough sweating – he should have a PhD! Before I drank enough to add on a potable 50lbs wine cellar, I played the odd friendly games of rugby and ran a few triathlons, so I thought I knew something about pain and exercise – that was until Dave told me his first joke!

Working out is fun and can be funny. Dave really is more than a trainer, his great personality and passion for long Latin muscle names, makes him the Perfect Motivator. He forced me to drop 20lbs in the last 2-3 months and my strength and flexibility is better than it has been in 10 years. I now look forward to going to the gym and seeing Dave, which is really the whole reason to get a trainer

I have never met a guy who is so upbeat so early in the morning, every morning! He constantly challenges me to new routines and is always interest in how the rest of the program is going, supplements, nutrition and the dreaded cardio. I would recommend Dave to anyone who is an animal lover, has a sense of humor and wants to put their body in the shape and condition it deserves. Beware those not willing to work, laugh, sweat, clean Dave’s car or have a fear of very brightly covered sweatshirts.

Thanks Dave, you have done a sensational job!

Yours truly,

Andrew Scott

I ran into a friend of mine in the summer of 2003 and told her she looked better than ever. She had never been slim and here she was trim and toned and 30 pounds lighter. She told me she had been working with a trainer at the gym. I only worked with one trainer in the past and was not impressed with his knowledge or interest in my goals so it wasn’t until a few months later that I decided to call my friend’s trainer. I had turned 50 in July, finding it increasingly difficult to keep my weight down, and was bored with my exercise regimen.

I started working with Dave Camizzi in October 2003 and was immediately impressed with his attention to form in all the exercises he showed me. I had hurt my back and knees in the past and his insistence on good form have kept me progressing unhurt for almost two years. He is interested in my goals and tailors and changes my exercise routine accordingly. Although initially I had intended on only a few sessions, I still work with him on a regular basis and continue to learn and progress due to his training.

I am $600.00 richer thanks to my personal trainer, Dave Camizzi.

My sister is getting married in June, Me, my mom, and two of my sisters had a bet to see who could lose the lost weight. We contributed $200.00 to a pot and it was winner take all.

I told Dave about the bet and he immediately began working with me to achieve my weight loss goals. Dave has impressed me in several areas:

• Dave is extremely knowledgeable. I had certain ideas about exercise and eating that I had heard over the years. After talking to Dave I realized that several of them were actually inhibiting my progress. I feel I can ask him any question about diet and exercise and he will set me straight.
• He is constantly changing my workout and introducing me to new exercises. When I reached a plateau several weeks ago, he changed my whole workout routine and encouraged me to keep working. Before lone I was back on track.
• He is persistent. If I can’t make it into the gym I know I will get a call from him with works of support.
• He always has a positive attitude. I have never seen him in a bad mood! There is always a new joke to look forward to (the “Little Tony” jokes are my favorite).

In a few short months I got the following results:

• Weight loss of 20lbs (I am 5’1”)
• 2 inches lost in my chest, waist and thighs
• 2 ¾ inches lost in my hips
• 4% decrease in total body fat

I would highly recommend Dave Camizzi to anyone wanting to get serious about diet and/or exercise.

If the body is a temple, mine was more like a little league snack shop. The inside was stuffed with the wrong kind of food and the outside was in major disrepair. At age 55 I realized that I can’t stop the clock but I can, at least, slow it down. Way back when, I was an avid bicycle rider but since then I have done little to stay fit. In addition, I have not been in a gym since high school. The point is that all of this was new to me and out of my “comfort zone”. Then I started working with Dave, who made me feel comfortable on the very first day.

My first assumption was that fitness meant running around the track and “pumping iron”. Dave, on the other had, educated me that form, core muscles, posture; balance and “doing it right” were the first and most important things to learn. In other words, it is not about how much weight you can lift but how much can you lift and control, with the correct posture. He helped my build my core, improve my posture and my balance.

Believe it or not fitness is 50% physical and 50% mental. So it you are going to do this you need a great teacher. What makes a great teacher?

Here are a few of my thoughts:

Enthusiastic – Dave is high energy and even then I came in with a “bad attitude” from work it changed as soon as we started.

Knowledgeable – Dave seems to know every muscle and bone in the body and sorry Dave but I am still trying to keep the “lats” and “traps” straight.

Student Focused – This is so important. Dave designed a program based on where I was, not on some standard exercise program’Consistent – Dave never missed a session and when we meet he was totaled focused on how I was doing and making sure I had everything “right”

Interesting – Your body is like a brain. It gets bored and lazy doing the same thing over and over again. Dave keeps it interesting by mixing the old with the new, also known as ‘unaccustomed stimulus’. Just when I thought I had something ‘nailed’ like squats, Dave would throw in ‘squats’ on ‘squishy’ disks.

So what are the results? Reviewing the many measurements taken over the months I have been working with Dave, my percentage of body fat has dropped by almost 5 pounds and my “flabby skin” index fell from 62 mm to 50 mm. The biggest benefit, however, can’t be measured. Two weeks ago my 21-year old daughter and I went on a nice, but seriously hilly, hike and while we were climbing one of the many hills she said to me, “It was great to be able to hike with my fit dad”. Sometimes you have to “invest in yourself” and that means a commitment of time and money. When you make that decision, Dave is the trainer to get you where you want to be.

Thanks Dave for all you have done for me.

Regards,

Scott Codon
